The Cotswold's name is derived from the Cotswold Mall which was Charlotte's first suburban mall. It is now known as the Cotswold Villiage Shops. Cotswold is a sought after area due to its proximity to uptown, Southpark and South Charlotte. The city skyline view can be seen directly from Randolph Road, the heart of Cotswold. Many of the homes, which were built back in the 50's and 60's, have gone through updated renovations making this a very desirbale real estate area.
